The Center

The Kaufherr Members Resource Center (KMRC) is a  multi-purpose resource center available to SAG-AFTRA and AEA members.  The KMRC serves as a resource center for Chicago actors to connect, engage and activate their careers.  The center provides user-friendly technology, audio/video editing suites, and rehearsal or audition space.

Since its inception in June of 2001, The KMRC has logged over 10,000 visits by local union actors.

Open Monday thru Friday 9 am to 5 pm and Wednesday until 9 pm. The Center is closed on all SAG-AFTRA holidays.

The mission of the KMRC is to support Chicago's professional actors in:

  • marketing their talent,
  • enhancing their skills, and
  • support their resolve to make a living at their craft.

Record audio audition self-submissions, rehearse voice-overs, record or edit demo reels.
